Bayete Guest Lodge Victoria Falls offers comfortable and affordable accommodation in the heart of the Victoria Falls residential area. It is the flag ship and first lodge in the Bayete Collection.

Bayete Guest Lodge is a family run lodge which offers 30 rooms set in a lush tropical garden. Central to the lodge is the large teardrop swimming pool, which is hugged by the Dining Boma and Bar. The Tavern is steeped in history and character and is central to the communal area where guests are welcomed to gather, have refreshments and socialise.

Bayete Guest Lodge room rates include a Full English Breakfast, which is served every morning in the dining boma. A delicious seasonal menu prepared by our executive chef for lunch and dinner are also available on request, and should be pre-ordered on the day.

We are a quiet oasis far removed from the hustle and bustle of the town, and offer a tranquil and comfortable escape for both work and pleasure orientated travelers. The Lodge offers a fast fibre-optic wi-fi connection covering all rooms and areas of the lodge which is available to guests free of charge.

Bayete Guest Lodge has a booking office on site to help you book all your Vic Falls activities, such as the helicopter flights, Tour of the Falls, Sunset Cruises and various other sightseeing, game-viewing and / or adrenaline activities.

ROOMS at BAYETE

Bayete Guest Lodge offers 30 comfortable and affordable rooms in the heart of the Victoria Falls residential area. As guests enter the property and walk through the doors of the reception they are welcomed into a lush green oasis.

Guests are given the choice of deluxe or executive rooms, all set in the beautiful tropical garden. All 30 rooms at Bayete Guest Lodge have their own unique difference, there is a honeymoon suite, a family cottage, triple rooms, doubles and twins, making this the perfect accommodation for couples, families and individual guests. Each room is equipped with all of the essentials which guests need, such as mosquito nets, air-conditioning, toiletries, tea and coffee, and international plug points.

Breakfast is served in the Caldecott Boma every morning. Delicious home-cooked lunch and dinner options are also available on request, and should be pre-ordered.

Classic Suites

Twin/Double

A spacious and generously sized room, with shower, basin and toilet en-suite. Our Classic rooms are equipped with a full range of amenities and some of the rooms have bathtubs, please enquire as to availability if this is a requirement.

Triple Classic Suite

Large, comfortable rooms capable of accommodating 3 people. With a choice of 3 single beds or 1 king sized bed and 1 single bed. Each is equipped with an en suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet, and comes with air conditioning and mosquito nets. Perfect for a family of 3, or for friends traveling together. 

Executive Suites

Twin or Double

Spacious and luxurious rooms with generously appointed bathrooms equipped with Victorian bath, shower, basin and toilet. 2 x 2 of the rooms have inter-leading doors enabling them to convert into suites if travelling with family or friends.

Triple Executive Suite

Spacious bedroom capable of accommodating 3 guests. The Triple Executive room has a large en suite bathroom, with a shower, ball and claw bathtub and toilet. Each room is equip with air-conditioning, mosquito nets and a tea and coffee station. One of our triple executive rooms is inter-leading with a twin/double executive room, making it the perfect choice for parents traveling with kids. 

Honeymoon Suite

This luxurious and spacious suite features a large Victorian bath in an open-plan design, set against a stunning piece of heavy railway sleeper, with a king size bed, shower and basin. Beautifully designed with the bath as the center-feature as the room, our honeymoon suite epitomizes private luxury. 

Family Cottage

Classic Category

The Family Cottage is perfect for families of 5. With 2 separate rooms, 1 holds 3 single beds and the other holds a queen sized bed. This cottage also has shared bathroom with a large shower. More suitable for families with younger kids so that they can be close to their parents, but capable of sleeping 5 adults. This rooms does not have a living area.

Mike and Alex Johnson are the owners and hosts of Bayete Guest Lodge and The Bayete Collection. After many years in the Hospitality industry they moved to Victoria Falls, and they have gone to extra-ordinary lengths to turn Bayete Guest Lodge into the stunning and unique guest lodge that it is today.

Emphasis on the design of the lodge has been in an effort to promote local art and materials and the provision of relaxing homely feel gardens, which make Bayete Guest Lodge so beautiful.
